Calling all marketing professionals

(CNS Business): Cayman Island’s Marketing Professional Association (CIMPA) is looking for local marketing experts who have excellent marketing techniques and present outstanding qualities to be recognized for their 2015 Marketing Awards. CIMPA officials said the launch of their new annual awards programme is set to identify exceptional marketing practices in Cayman and highlight individuals on their performances.
Lynne Byles, chair of CIMPA, said she hopes the awards will raise the bar for marketing across multiple industries.
“Forging an alliance between marketing professionals locally by showcasing engaging and differentiated marketing activity helps raise the bar amongst marketing peers and promotes marketing activity in the Cayman Islands,” Byles explained. “Launching the Marketing Awards awards will help us enhance the value of the marketing profession in the Cayman Islands, a key strategic goal for CIMPA”.
The new CIMPA awards will highlight marketing activity across a range of business, from large corporations to individual traders.
The categories include: Campaign of the Year, Best of Brand, Digital Campaign of the Year, Marketing Service Provider of the Year (including photographers, website developers, event managers etc), Marketing on a Small Budget, Marketing ‘New Comer’ of the Year and Marketer of the Year.
All marketing professionals are asked to submit their work by 20 April.
