New board member for Chamber Pension Plan
(CNS Business): A new trustee has been appointed to the Chamber Pension Plan Board of Trustees. Financial services professional Rhonda Anderson will now join the board, following the term fulfillment of a previous trustee. Anderson has nineteen years of experience in the offshore financial services industry, with over fifteen of those as a financial controller.
Her experience includes a wide range of areas including financial services, mutual funds, offshore banking, and commercial real estate. She is also a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Fraud Examiner and a member of the Cayman Islands Society of Professional Accountant. Anderson is the partner responsible for operations and finance for Zolfo Cooper Caribbean, a financial advisory group, with two offices in the Cayman Islands and British Virgin Islands.
“I am honoured to be the Chamber of Commerce appointed Trustee,” Anderson stated. “She adds, With my financial experience background, I feel I can positively contribute to the success of the Chamber Pension Plan.”
Board officials said her duties will consist of all financial reporting, operational policies and procedures, as well as budgeting, HR, and facilities.
Chamber Pension Plan Board of Trustees Chairman, Eduardo D’Angelo Silva stated, “We are pleased to have someone like Mrs. Anderson who has a wealth of knowledge in the financial industry. We look forward to her expertise being an asset to our board of trustees.”
The Chamber Pension Plan Board of Trustees is made up of 9 Trustees who serve on a voluntary basis for 3 years, and are active members in the business community covering a variety of industry sectors.
