(CNS Business): Local telecommunications firm Cable & Wireless has won a Company of the Year award based on its products and “outstanding customer service”, the firm said in a release. C&W Business, part of the C&W Communications group, has been recognized for the 2015 award by Frost & Sullivan, which presents the award annually to a company that has demonstrated excellence in terms of growth strategy and implementation. The award recognizes a high degree of innovation with products and technologies, and the resulting leadership in terms of customer value and market penetration, according to officials.

“C&W Business has many processes that operate concurrently in order to continuously unearth customers’ unmet or under-served needs and design relevant products,” said Frost & Sullivan Research Analyst Ignacio Perrone. “The company’s account managers, service managers, pre-sales engineers, solution architects and customer care centers work together to not only serve clients’ present requirements, but to anticipate technological trends that can solve business challenges.”

The organisation’s suite of solutions includes data communications, unified communications, data center services, managed networking, cloud services and business continuity. Frost and Sullivan said that it was this end-to-end deal that gave C&W Business an edge over its competitors, most of which lacked one or more parts of the puzzle.

John Maduri, President C&W Business, said the recognition solidifies C&W’s leadership in the Central American and Caribbean region “for providing a robust product portfolio, excellent customer service and a commitment to first-class solutions that enables organizations to transform their business”. He said it has also inspired the firm’s efforts.

“Everyone at C&W Business has an extremely valued presence, and it is wonderful to be recognized for our diligent work this year in growth, innovation and leadership,” he added.

See, what C&W was lauded for was a “robust portfolio”. I other words, they make investors money. It sure isn’t because of their customer service, or product reliability.

just a question………. were there other telecommunications companies competing??

This must be a Xmas joke. Outstanding Customer Service? Surely you cannot be serious. I have had a year of hell trying to get my freezing TV and internet problems solved and still have problems every evening with a freezing / buffering TV and Internet that is down regularly.
