Local airline adds extra Honduras flight

Cayman Airways at Owen Roberts International Airport(CNS Business): Cayman Airways is adding another flight weekday flight to La Ceiba, Honduras, in order, to meet summer demand for trips to the central American nation, the airline said. The National Flag Carrier has added a new Wednesday flight to the schedule for July and August. The additional flight began on 1 July and will operate through until 2 September alongside the year-round scheduled LA Ceiba flights on Friday and Monday.

Airline officials said KX882 departs Grand Cayman at 1pm and the one hour flight arrives in La Ceiba at 1:25pm local time. The return flight KX883 leaves La Ceiba at 2:25pm and arrives in Cayman at 4:45pm. The flight is only one hour in duration, but Cayman is 1 hour ahead of La Ceiba.

    Something is just not right why is their such demand from one of the most dangerous corrupt places on earth Is it he constant turnover of sex workers in cayman ? the drug business?
    I just don’t understand the movement of the money How is it that one of the poorest latin american nations is doing so much business in cayman?

      If the demand for sex and drugs are so high, then this extra flight might offer a welcome reduction in the high cost of living.
