Congratulations Don, not only have you worked yourself to the top in an international field; you did it without the customary chest thumping and self aggrandizement.

You make this Caymanian very, very proud! My hat is off to you!

Great work Don! We are proud of you and your contributions to the industry and Cayman!

DMS has a terrible reputation in the funds field. The functionaries working underneath the big-name directors harass the crap out of fund managers for excessive documentation, and the directors rely on software to do their jobs. DMS also sells bogus services like “FATCA officer” to funds with no US taxpayers. It’s a money-spinning fund services factory and not a very good one. Use real directors who read and think for themselves.

….says a disgruntled competitor. Well done, Don!

I was waiting for that. I’m actually not a competitor at all, just someone in a position to recommend directors to funds.

    • Anonymous says:

Put down the haterade and try to build your own business without trying to tear down others. I guess asking for documentation and gathering information isn’t something a “real director” should do… Well good luck with that in court!

    • Anonymous says:

seems to me that requests for “excessive documentation” really means that the person on the receiving end of the requests just can’t be bothered to do their job correctly.

    • WaYaSay says:

Pray, tell Sir/Madam, where exactly is your name on this prestigious list?
If it is there, I would like to congratulate you as well!

As has been said many times before, and although he claims to have created it, he did not create the Investment Services Division of CIMA, it predates him.

I guess if you say it often enough people believe you….

    • edgar ebanks says:

Classic! I bet he didn’t create DMS either. How dare him. Clearly both accomplishments must have been done by an expat. No way any Caymanian could have done either. Will the expat who is really responsible for these great achievements please stand up and come forward?

    • Anonymous says:

Pray tell by whom and when it was created.

      • Harry Bush says:

        From CIMA’s 1997 report

Deputy Head of Investment Services Mr. Dwight Carter

        Financial Controller Mr. Don Seymour
