Previously a Wyndham Affiliate, the 152-room waterfront resort has now met the high standards of Wyndham Hotels and Resorts following a yearlong renovation process.

According to a release sent by the company, Director of Wyndham Reef Resort Kel Thompson said the resort has undergone “structural and organizational” renovations to ensure compliance with Wyndham standards.

“Becoming a full Wyndham property means we have a reach into a market we never had before. The recognition of the brand cannot be over-estimated,” Thompson explained.

The director added he was thrilled the Wyndham Reef Resort Grand Cayman was now part of such an established and popular brand.

“It was a team effort,” he said. “I am incredibly proud of our staff for their hard work and dedication, which resulted in the best possible outcome for our owners and guests – being awarded the prestigious Wyndham name.”

Already a popular destination for visitors, President and CEO of Wyndham Hotel Group Geoff Ballotti said his team was proud of this gorgeous new Wyndham resort, and stated it would make an excellent addition to Wyndham’s portfolio.

“We are the global leader in travel accommodations welcoming our guests to iconic brands and vacation destinations through our signature Count On Me! Service,” said Ballotti. “At Wyndham we believe that fostering a service-oriented culture is paramount to providing our visitors the best possible vacation experience. We know staff at the Wyndham Reef Resort Grand Cayman are more than able to meet our high expectations.”
