(CNS Business): Following another successful and much anticipated charitable bake sale, the staff of Maples and Calder’s Corporate Services department raised CI$2,000 for Cayman’s ARK (Acts of Random Kindness). The proceeds of the sale will aid a local family in need, to help defray mounting medical treatment costs for their child.

Tara Nielsen of Cayman’s ARK was delighted with the donation. “A huge thank you to the Maples and Calder Corporate Services team. We are appreciative of everything you have all done for this family in need,” she said.

This is the third fundraising bake sale organised by the department, the first of which benefitted another cause facilitated through Cayman’s ARK, while the second was donated to Meals on Wheels, an organisation which delivers meals to individuals in need around the island.

“We are extremely grateful for the staff’s support of our departmental efforts as the MCS twice-yearly bake sales are held to raise money just for these types of situations,” said Head of Corporate Services, Allison Smith. “We are especially happy to assist when they involve children.”
