Diving computers changed the industry

(CNS): The introduction of diving computers to the industry brought safety challenges for working divemasters, says Cornell Burke, who worked in the dive industry on Cayman Brac for 24 years as dive manager of Brac Aquatics, starting in the early 1980’s. He said that while it enabled divers to stay longer, sometimes they would turn their computers off and on to hide how deep they had been.
